Airdrie

Rangers v. Airdrie, 1981

Rangers v. Airdrie, 1981:
John Gardner bringing off another fine save as he diverts a Davie Cooper shot past for a corner.

Airdrieonians, founded in 1878, played at Broomfield in Airdrie. They had won the 2nd Division three times, and the Scottish Cup once.

They went out of business - following the failure to find a buyer for the club - and were dismissed from the Scottish Football League, in 2002.
