The quarries at Cullipool were worked by the Breadalbane estate until 1866, when they were leased out. They closed in 1965. Although the industry is now extinct, some of the villages which once housed slate workers have survived – as have the extensive quarries and slate waste tips. Resource pack   1     2     3     4
