You are heir to the Scottish throne. In 1406, conflicts over the future of the monarchy forced your father, Robert III, to send you to France for your safety. Unfortunately, you were intercepted en-route and taken as the prisoner of Henry IV of England. You have been in captivity in the Tower of London now for 18 years.

Your father passed away soon after your capture, leaving your power-hungry uncle, the Duke of Albany, in control of Scotland.
