The Carmichael Family

Often in the writing of history, the lives of ordinary people are forgotten. So it has been, with the lives of one very 'ordinary' Scottish family — The Carmichaels. The Carmichael family not only lived through, and in several cases, fought in the Great War but were also witness to another much documented event, the lives of the War Poets during their stay at Craiglockhart War Hospital.
