Attempts at negotiating fail, Alexander III, King of Scots is adamant at destroying the Norse hold of the western seaboard. You are forced to fight.
In 1263, you face his wrath at the Battle of Largs. He has grown incredibly impatient and wants to end more than two decades of tension here and now.
You are at a major disadvantage. The weather is unfavourable, forcing you on-shore for a land battle. You are also left grossly outnumbered. Once again, you're let down by dishonourable allegiances between those you thought you could trust and the enemy – the King of Scots.
