STONE ROWS
Hill o' Many Stanes image

More than 22 rows of slow stones arranged in a slightly fan-shaped pattern, on the south slope of a small hill. Now there are about 200 stones, but there could originally have been 600. The largest stone is 0.9m in height.
The function of the stones is unknown: one theory explains the setting as a complex lunar observatory.
