A well-preserved example of a large round stone-built burial cairn, probably dating from the Bronze Age. It was once larger, but is now 24m in diameter and 4.4m high. During excavation a beaker and a broken leaf-shaped spear were found in the cairn. Two other cairns formerly existed nearby but they have not survived. In care of Historic Scotland
