Vacuum Cleaning - SMC219
This is the upper levels of St Magnus Cathedral being vacuum cleaned. The building is cleaned from top to bottom once a year.
The upper levels are cleaned due to the steady build up of dust from stone and mortar which is slowly crumbling. It is only done once a year because it is such a large job.
Vacuum cleaning the upper levels and staircases of the building is the job of the Cathedral Stone Mason. The Stone Mason is the person responsible for the maintenance of the building.
