Jurek Putter's print of St Magnus - SMC124
This depiction of St Magnus can be found on display at the St Magnus Centre in Kirkwall. The print is a historical research illustration that shows St Magnus
The artist is Jurek Putter, who established the Grafik Orzel Design Studio in St Andrews in 1966 and began work on the Historical Research Illustration Project.
Each print is meticulously researched and can take up to 10 years to complete. The prints are drawn in pencil and then printed onto art paper using a technique known as the dyeline process.
