Adam Stained Glass Window - SMC103

In the south aisle of the nave of St Magnus Cathedral there is a stained glass depiction of Adam. It shows a naked man with a foliage covering.

According to the Bible and Hebrew tradition, Adam was the first man created by God. Both he and his wife Eve lived in the Garden of Eden until they were exiled for eating the fruit of the Tree.

This window dates from the 1920s and is part of the scheme of windows created by Oscar Patterson.
