Parable of the Good Samaritan Stained Glass Window - SMC100
Located in the south nave aisle os St Magnus Cathedral is a stained glass window that depicts the Parable of the Good Samaritan.
The Parable of the Good Samaritan is a story told by Jesus in Luke 10:25-37 in the New Testament of the Bible. On being asked how to inherit eternal life, Jesus said that you must love God and your neighbour. To illustrate this he told a story of how a man was beaten and robbed on the roadside. His plight was ignored by both a priest and a Levite but a Samaritan aided the man.
The window was made by Ballantyne and Gardner and is dedicated to Thomas Peace.
