St Nicholas Stained Glass Window - SMC093
In the north nave aisle of St Magnus Cathedral is a stained glass window of St Nicholas.
St Nicholas was Bishop of Myra in Lycia who died on the sixth of December in either 345 or 352. Little is known about him other than that he was a fourth century bishop in Asia Minor.
In recent times St Nicholas has become associated with Santa Claus. The window was designed and installed by Oscar Patterson's studio.
