Stone Heads - SMC051
To be found on the north side of the nave are carved heads. They are located at the base of the roof supports and are placed in pairs. The heads are carved in a naturalistic fashion.

The two heads shown can be found in the north east side of the nave. The head to the left clearly has its fingers to its mouth as if it has said something it shouldn't.

Carved heads can be found throughout St Magnus Cathedral. They can be found on the north and south sides of the nave and in the presbytery, amongst other places.
