Police Checking Tickets (video clip)

There are 8 separate Police Forces covering the whole of Scotland:
Strathclyde, Lothian and Borders, Tayside, Grampian, Highland, Dumfries and Galloway, Central Scotland, and Fife.

Strathclyde Police are Scotland's largest police force, and have been in existence since 1975. There are 9 divisions, covering everything from Glasgow City Centre, to small island communities.

These pictures show Strathclyde Police Officers checking people going through the turnstiles at a Celtic v Rangers Football match in 1989.
