Catholic Socialist Society

The Catholic Socialist Society was formed in Glasgow in 1906 by John Wheatley and William Regan. Its membership was confined to practising catholics and its aim was to propagate socialism to practising catholics. The society was in agreement and co-operation with the Independent Labour Party.
